Günther Möbius
Günther Möbius (b. 1997 in Berlin, Germany) lives and works in Vienna. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Christopher Williams and graduated from the Städelschule in 2024, where he studied under Judith Hopf.
Möbius constructs fictional worlds by combining his sculptural and literary practices. His sculptures take the form of architectural and stage-set models as well as figurative character designs. His writing often adopts the formats of alternate history or fanfiction. In his work, he incorporates the areas of spatial memory, anarchitecture, and level design.
